Fossick your way into the history of SA


For our students who are curious about fossils, our local geology and how South Australia has helped define our past please join us for a session with Dr Tony Hall on Saturday 31 May 2025.


Tony will take students on a fascinating and hands on exploration into the field of geobiology, and in particular our extraordinary local geology has helped us understand some of the major global events of the past billion years.


Tony has over 30 years’ experience in the field of geology, geobiology and geochemistry overseas and in Australia. His current role within the Faculty of Science, Engineering and Technology at the University of Adelaide encompasses the management and operation of a research and service analytical facility, Mawson Analytical Spectrometry Services (MASS).
