Animals Anonymous! Hands-on with our Native Wildlife

Get up close and personal with some beautiful Australian animals, learn about these unique species, why some of these species are endangered, and what we can do in our own backyards to help our wildlife. Then create a poster about what you have learnt!

About the event
Are you ready to meet a Squirrel Glider, Crocodile, Owl, Goanna, Quokka (or Bettong), Pythons, and Lizards?
The session is very hands-on and provides an opportunity to pat and/or hold most of the animals. Learn about these unique species, why some of these species are endangered, and what we can do in our own backyards to help our wildlife.
Topics covered include:
adaptations
ecosystems
life cycles
biodiversity
classification
endangered animals
and more.
Following the 1 hour Animals Anonymous presentation, the GTCASA team will run a poster creation session where kids can design a poster about what they have learnt.
