About the event
Activity: Students design a Lego car and program it to navigate a track with
acceleration, braking, and turning logic.
Learning Objective: Apply physics, engineering principles, and programming
fundamentals like loops.
Programming Focus: Introduce basic loops (for moving continuously) and for
reacting to obstacles.
Insightful Takeaway: Iterative testing is key in both coding and engineering.
We had lots of queries about what age the programming is suitable for and this year we are delighted to confirm there are no age limitations for the kids.
If you are confident your child can operate their laptop and engage for the session, they are welcome to come along!
So join Louis from Leading Coding to dip a toe in. It is a great beginner language and the course runs over the first two sessions. - BYO tablet
