GTCASA is Heading North & Regional: Swan Reach - Dark Sky Reserve Solstice Event

Following the unfortunate cancellation of our previous stargazing event, I am delighted to share an exciting alternative (albeit short notice) that promises a spectacular experience under some of the world’s darkest skies.

GTCASA has secured an allocation of 5 tickets for our members to attend the "From the Ground to the Stars" community celebration in Swan Reach this Saturday, 20 June. This event, hosted by the River Murray International Dark Sky Reserve and Mid Murray Landcare SA, is a fantastic opportunity to celebrate the Winter Solstice.

The program is fully weather-proofed, with a transition plan between the Swan Reach Area School Gym and the oval, ensuring that regardless of the cloud cover, the educational experience remains 100% on.

We have 5 exclusive spots available for GTCASA families.

To support you in making the trip, GTCASA will provide each of the 5 attending families with a $25 fuel voucher. (1 voucher per family)

• When: Saturday, 20 June 2026 | 4:00 PM – 9:00 PM

• Where: Swan Reach Area School Gym and Oval

• Cost: Free for the 5 people who register through us.

How to secure your spot: These 5 places will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis.
