About the event
Maker Marketeers is where Sustainability meets Entrepreneurship.
Using simple cutting, knotting and refashioning techniques, young designers will experiment, problem-solve and create something awesome from materials that might otherwise have ended up in landfill.
Participants can work at their own pace and follow their own creative ideas, with the option to share or showcase their finished designs at the end of the session.
About the Presenter:
Meggie is the founder of We Make and has spend the last 25 years working in education including primary school teaching and operating a Martial Arts school. Meggie has a passion for designing curriculum and helping to make complex problems manageable for her students. We Make specialises in combining sustainable projects with community building. Maker Marketeers is where Sustainability meets Entrepreneurship.
